FHRS goes live in Hackney. Health Minister Anna Soubry attended the launch of the Food Hygiene Rating Scheme (FHRS) by the London Borough of Hackney and presented some top rated food businesses with their certificates.
The Food Hygiene Rating Scheme helps you choose where to eat out or shop for food by giving you information about the hygiene standards in restaurants, pubs, cafés, takeaways, hotels and other places you eat, as well as in supermarkets and other food shops.
Improve Your Rating
We get asked to help with the rating scheme and get businesses a good rating usually because:
- your local Council has already given you a rating and you want a better score next time
- You know that you're due a visit soon or you want be better prepared to get the best score possible
- You do not entirely agree with the Council's findings and they way they've interpreted the rating scheme. You think they've been too harsh
- You've requested a re-rating as you want to do the works and get rid of a low rating score as quick as you can
In all these cases you're in expert hands if you ask us to help you. We are very experienced EHOs. Between us, the Council inspectors are even less likely to be inclined to pull the wool over our eyes on these matters - we walk their walk and talk their talk. Having us on 'your side' and helping you get everything right puts you in a much stronger and more confident position.
